Recently, Brother Meilutis returned to his homeland of Lithuania for a visit with family and friends. While there, he attended lodge with his father and offered greetings from St.Charles Lodge to our Masonic brothers in Lithuania. At our regular communication on February 18, 2014, Brother Meilutis reported on his successful trip and brought greetings from our Lithuanian Masonic brothers. In addition, our Lithuanian brothers sent a most beautiful plaque to commemorate the occasion! The glass plaque is adorned with numerous masonic symbols in gold and black, housed in a wooden frame secured by a gold rope. The bottom of the plaque is engraved:
"St.Charles Lodge #214 A.F.& A.M., St.Charles, Missouri, USA Šv.Jono Ložė, Lietuva, 6014".
This plaque is a beautiful reminder of the international nature of our wonderful brotherhood and will hang in our lodge as a constant reminder of our brothers in Lithuania. We offer our profound and heartfelt thanks for this beautiful and generous gift from across the ocean. Ačiū!
